So I've built and played this deck, ideally you want to use Chromatic Lantern like effects so when you go to cast other peoples stuff you've got any mana color you need, some of which are Chromatic Orrery, Mycosynth Lattice Celestial Dawn, Smothering Tithe, etc.
Your Deck is Mine (unfinished, help appreciated) 5 days ago works pretty well in my own Karn-deck and is not dependant on Karn himself or the mana rock being around for more than the current turn (summoning sickness when turned into a creature). I am also missing a mana-sink for your endless mana combo(s), so how about Myr Matrix?Īnd you could add even more endless mana combos: Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth The Lattice is a real gimmick, as anyone even thinking of casting a mass artifact removal would reset the whole board (except your indestructible stuff, which might be your entire board with the Forge), so most won't do it (or get shafted in the next 100+ games in your playgroup).Īnd the Disk just comboes with Forge/Unwinding for a "board wipe" every turn for anyone but you. Monument boosting your mana production, as it adds to ANY source tapping for it (which kinda everything in this deck does) and enabling more mana rocks to combo with your Voltaic Construct. I am missing Forsaken Monument as well as Mycosynth Lattice and Nevinyrral's Disk
